A COMPOSITE TAILGATE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE AND A METHOD THEROF

The embodiments herein achieve a lightweight composite tailgate assembly suitable for use in motor vehicles and the like. Further, the embodiments herein achieve the lightweight composite tailgate assembly that is corrosion resistant and having substantially reduced tooling costs as compared to conventional steel tailgates. Furthermore, the embodiments herein achieve the lightweight composite tailgate assembly which lowers the overall weight of the vehicle and improves the styling flexibility. The embodiments herein further achieve the lightweight composite tailgate assembly which is made-up of composite plastic. Additionally, the embodiments herein achieve a method of forming a lightweight composite tailgate assembly.
