Integrated manufacturing of REciclable multi-material COmposites for the TRANSport sector

A system (22) for packaging a plurality of packing units (14) consisting of packaging sleeves (10) and packing-unit overwrapping (15) on a pallet (23) is illustrated and described, comprising: a plurality of packing units (14) made of packaging sleeves (10) and packing-unit overwrapping (15), the packing-unit overwrapping (15) enclosing the packaging sleeves (10); a pallet (23) for stacking the packing units (14); pallet overwrapping (24), which encloses the packing units (14) stacked on the pallet (23); and at least one insert (26, 26A, 26B, 26C) provided under and/or between and/or over the stacked packing units (14), wherein: the packaging sleeves (10) are produced from a composite material; each packaging sleeve (10) has a front side (12) and a rear side (13); the front side (12) and the rear side (13) of each packaging sleeve (10) are separated from one another by folding edges (F), along which the packaging sleeve (10) is folded flat; each packaging sleeve (10) has two openings which are arranged on opposite sides of the packaging sleeve (10); each packaging sleeve (10) has a longitudinal seam (11) which connects two edges of the composite material to form a peripheral packaging sleeve (10); and the pallet overwrapping (24) is produced from a plastics film. In order to allow space-saving, cost-effective and secure transport of packaging sleeves (10), the invention proposes that the packing-unit overwrapping (15) be produced from a plastics film.
