PROCESO Y FORMULACION DE UN COMPUESTO TRIFASICO DE FIBRA DE VIDRIO, ESFERAS HUECAS DE VIDRIO Y NYLON-6 CON UNA MENOR DENSIDAD Y MAYOR RESISTENCIA MECANICA.

The present invention relates to the field of processing plastic or polymeric compounds, characterized by formulating and processing a lighter compound with higher mechanical resistance made with glass fibers (FV) and hollow glass microspheres, both pure (MEHV) as modified (MEHV-APTES) and injection grade Nylon-6 as the matrix. The MEHV-APTES concentrations range from 5% to 15% by weight with a manufacturing process by melt mixing in a static chamber for maintaining a high percentage of intact hollow spheres, thus reducing the density thereof. In addition, the concentration of the impact modifier increases the deformation of the material, reduces its brittleness, and does not diminish the mechanical properties compared to the Nylon-6 and fiberglass composite. The present invention relates to the industry of transformation of plastics or polymers, automotive, aerospace, electronics, household appliances, among others.
