The present invention relates to a sliding-sleeve connection (6) between a widened end (8) of an all-plastic tube (7) or a plastic composite tube and a connecting element (1), which comprises a widened end (8) of an all-plastic tube (7) or a plastic composite tube; a connecting element (1) which has at least one support body (2, 2a) provided with peripheral outer ribs (3, 3a, 3b), onto which the widened end (8) of the all-plastic tube (7) or the plastic composite tube (7) is pushed, and at least one peripheral collar (5, 5a); and a sliding sleeve (9) which is axially pushed onto the widened end (8) and is made of an elastically deformable polymer material, wherein the connecting element (1) has a preliminary stop (4, 4a) between the peripheral collar (5, 5a) and the next outer rib (3b) to same, which preliminary stop represents a limit for the pushing-on of the tube end (8), wherein the end of the sliding sleeve (9) facing the peripheral collar (5, 5a) extends over the edge of the preliminary stop (4, 4a) which faces the peripheral outer rib (3b).
