METHOD FOR INDUCING ARTIFICIAL HIBERNATION OF FISH, LIVE FISH PACKAGING METHOD, AND LIVE FISH PACKAGING CONTAINER

The purpose of the present invention is to transport live fish for a long time by causing the fish to artificially hibernate, and the present invention induces the artificial hibernation of fish by gradually reducing water temperature from an initial water temperature to the lowest water temperature and packages the fish in a waterless state. Packaging can be performed in an environment in which the temperature of the lowest water temperature can be constantly maintained, a refrigerant for constantly maintaining the temperature in a packaging container is packaged together therewith, and oxygen is continuously supplied to the live fish in an artificial hibernation condition. Since the fish are individually packaged in a styrofoam box, there is no risk of breathing difficulty due to damaged vinyl even if the air pressure in an airplane is lowered, when the fish are transported by plane. Fish can be maintained in a live state for at least 36 hours in a waterless environment by the hibernation inducing method and packaging capable of reducing stress to fish. Since fish can be distributed while staying alive for a long time, the fish can be distributed all over the world.
