WELL TREATMENT METHOD USING POLYMERIC FIBRES
The present invention relates to the field of oil and gas extraction. Proposed, for use in a composition for hydraulic fracturing, is a polymeric fibre coated with a finishing agent that contains a phospholipid-based surfactant. Also proposed are a composition for hydraulic fracturing which contains such fibres, a hydraulic fracturing method using said composition, and a method of producing said fibres. The present invention provides for improved dispersibility of the fibres in a carrier fluid, improved proppant transport in the fractures of a formation and reduced bridging of the fractures in the formation by the fibres, as well as increasing inflow area for formation fluids which increases the effectiveness of the hydraulic fracturing method and improves well yield, and reducing energy expenditure when carrying out the hydraulic fracturing method, while being simple to carry out and not requiring great energy expenditure or labour costs.
