MODULAR FULLY AUTOMATED INSTALLATION FOR SEPARATE COLLECTION OF WASTE

The invention relates to a modular fully automated installation meant to be used for separate collection of waste including, but not limited to, plastic, glass, aluminium cans, electronics, small and large household appliances, cardboard, paper, batteries, light bulbs. According to the invention, the installation comprises independent modules which ensure, for each waste category, the taking-over, identification, quality and conformity verification, the sorting and weighing of waste, followed by conveying the waste to a stocking place and storing it, wherefrom it is discharged and taken over by human operators for transporting it to processing facilities in order to be recycled, where each module includes certain areas arranged preferably in line, so as to ensure an optimal occupation of the available space as follows: an area (A) for separate taking over and interaction with a client, an area (B) for identification, verification and weighing, an area (C) for compression and compaction of certain types of waste or for the collection of small-sized waste in larger containers, a conveyance area (D) and a stocking or storing area (E), the modules being designed and made so that they can be interconnected to one another in the desired configuration, forming a reconfigurable and fully automated installation which can be placed in any place permitting the connection to the electric network, the modules transmitting automatically to the dispatching centre information about the number, type and quantity of stored waste, as well as about the operation status of each module of the installation as a whole, so that the discharge in collecting centres, wherein such installations are implemented, becomes more efficient, and also the repair and maintenance works, and the interaction with the clients takes place through the area for separate taking-over of waste in each module, the clients being possibly reawarded financially or by other means, depending on the type and amount of waste.
