Integrated manufacturing of REciclable multi-material COmposites for the TRANSport sector
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA FABRICAR UNA LAMINA, ESPECIALMENTE PARA LA UTILIZACION EN EL EQUIPAMIENTO INTERNO Y EXTERNO DE VEHICULOS AUTOMOVILES
The invention describes a procedure for manufacturing a weatherable, plasticizer-free, uncrosslinked and deep- drawable sheet, especially for the internal and external outfitting of automotive vehicles, containing 65 to 24% by weight of a partially crystalline ethylene-propylene- diene terpolymer and 35 to 75% by weight of a homopolymer and/or copolymer of propylene, 0 to 10% by weight of fillers, as well as stabilizers and lubricants, the extruded or calendered sheet exhibiting a tensile strength at break in the longitudinal direction of at least 20 N/mm2. An advantageous further development of the invention prepares a composite sheet 1 of EPDM/PP sheet 2 with a crosslinked polyolefin foam layer 3.
