DEVICE FOR INDUCING SKIN BURNS IN EXPERIMENTAL ANIMAL MODELS, USING HOT VAPOUR, IN A CONTROLLED MANNER

The invention relates to a device for producing skin burns on animal models, for experimental purposes. According to the invention, the device comprises a mechanism for producing burns which comprises an induction heating system (1) and a pressurized enclosure (2) with a tight cover (3) adapted thereto, a steam transport mechanism comprising a transport tube (4) made of flexible heat-resistant plastic, an electrically-operated valve (5), a discharge tube (6) made of flexible heat-resistant plastic and a Pezzer probe (7) adapted thereto, and a control mechanism comprising an electronic circuit (12) with an element (13) measuring the steam temperature and an element (14) adjusting the opening time of the electrically-operated valve (5) for steam discharge towards the Pezzer probe (7).
